Yoga your Climb- The Basics

A workshop for climbers - from beginner to advanced level - for everybody who loves to move outside in nature. Since I have been climbing for years, I know the beauty and the struggles within climbing. Through my yoga practice I learned how to accept and understand the language of my body. I experienced how to work through physical limitations and how to deal with limitations of the mind.
This is the reason why I created this Workshop Series.
Yoga is an excellent way to get your body soft & fluid, to flow through the climbing walls with more ease and peace.

1/4 THE BASICS

– get an idea about the efforts yoga can have for your climb
The first part will focus on a general overview, on all parts of the body which we need for sports & alpine climbing and in our daily life too. We are going to move through a series of practices which help you understand the functions of your body even better and how to use them, all related to your climbing performance.
Through different breathing techniques we learn how to deal and handle thrilling, or even paralyzing emotions inside the wall. We will calm the nervous and muscle system and transform fear into power.
